Neil Labute BASH Two short dramatic plays Iphigenia in Orem Medea Redux Iphigenia in Orem: The eponymous Iphigenia of the play is a baby girl who is suffocated by her father. This is a monologue addressed to an unseen person some years after the baby's murder. It takes the form of a confession which is heavily interspersed with the murderer's rationalizations for his deed. Medea Redux is a tragic tale in which a woman recounts the complex relationship with her school teacher and describes how she murdered her son for revenge.
