MANANA DOIJASHVILI XXVII International Festival “New Year Music Celebrations” VOCAL MUSIC EVENING “SPANISH RHYTHMS” Ketevan Kemoklidze Mezzo-Soprano / Georgia Andrés Salado Conductor / Spain Tbilisi Opera and Ballet State Theatre Symphony Orchestra Ketevan Kemoklidze, in high demand by major theaters of the world for her extraordinary vocal and stage skills, is the alumni of the Teatro alla Scala Academy and at Tbilisi State Conservatoire where she received the Doctorate of Musical Arts in 2023. Georgian mezzo-soprano successfully appears at many of the world's leading opera houses and she is a frequent and welcome guest at various prestigious International Festivals. She is the winner of Placido Domingo Operalia, Toulouse, Barcelona, Belvedere, Obraztsova, the Georgian Competition for Musician-Performers. Ketevan Kemoklidze made her outstanding film debut in Carlos Saura’s Io Don Giovanni. Her discography includes Rigoletto, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Romeo et Juliette, Faust, Thais, Otello, A Midsummer's night dream, Salome and Berlin AIDS Gala. Andrés Salado, with an established artistic career that has positioned him at the forefront of Spain's most important orchestras and with a growing international presence, is currently one of the most interesting and sought-after conductors in the symphonic and operatic scene. Known for his great versatility and tireless desire to break down barriers in classical music, Andrés divides his energy between conducting, teaching, and outreach, seeking the utmost connection between the arts, performers, and audiences. It is this very pursuit that earned him the Princess of Girona Arts and Letters Award and has placed him in the most relevant artistic platforms in Spain today.
