The Presentation of an Art Organizer
Kahaberi and Khanums" is a project by Kahaber Tsiskaridze, established in 2010 to present Georgian folklore in a modern and innovative way. The group’s main feature is the fusion of folklore, electronic music, and choreography, which brings a unique artistic quality to their performances. In 2013, they released their debut album “ From Ani to Hai”, which includes folk songs selected from various Georgian regions as well as two original compositions, "Alphabet" and "The Goat and the Vineyard." The group’s vocalists — Ana Pilfani, Diana Zurabiani, and Eka Gureshidze — use multi-voice singing, a traditional aspect of Georgian folklore. Their concerts are marked by three-part songs typical of Georgian folk music, accompanied by choreographic elements. "Kahaberi and Khanums" actively perform both in Georgia and abroad, enjoying significant popularity among those who appreciate modern interpretations of folklore.
